Some GFH staff had the opportunity to attend the National Incubator Farm Training Initiative's Field School in Portland, Oregon. A very cool place full of farm-to-table restaurants and great farmer training, incubation, and support. 70 attendees from farmer incubator and training programs across the country shared best practices and discussed various aspects of funding, operations, and impacts. In addition, we had the chance to tour the Oregon State University Food Innovation Center to learn how they develop new food products.
