What do you do when it's the end of a harvest cycle and you still have a lot of produce left? You make value-added products like pickles and kimchee! Students learned the process of fermenting foods and got take home their own value-added product and their very own pickling kit. Strictly using crops they grew themselves in the program, everyone got to make their own pickles. Fun times for all!
