Congratulations to cohort 6 graduates!!!! We planted an Ulu tree to commemorate their accomplishment.
Not Ed but his older brother! Windward's AgSchool (cohort 7) visited Ed's farm in Hawaii Kai. Always a neat and informative time for all!
Windward's AgPro class, cohort 6, is doing their final cleanup of their plots in preparation for graduation next week.
Just a quick post: On the farmer board of Holoholo and Twin Bridge's Red Barn Farmstand in Haleiwa... At North Shore Community Land Trust... At the USDA Beginning Farmer Advisory Council meeting in Cleveland... On unnamed property on O'ahu evaluating potential as an incubator site ;-)
GoFarm Hawai`i @ Leeward/North Shore came out to represent at the Food for Thought fair at Waialua High/Intermediate School. Thanks to all the students who came out and donated produce.
After being delayed at Windward Community College site for many weeks due to the rain, the GoFarm Hawai`i @ Windward AgSchool cohort 7 moved to the CTAHR Waimanalo site and got all their initial crops planted. Now they are ready to put practice their other cultivation skills (which hopefully results in a great harvest!).
